Crushing it! After Party with Yam Haus and Author

The Bleu Duck Kitchen and Chamberlain Concierge & Lifestyle Management are thrilled to bring you the CRUSHING IT: After Party with YAM HAUS and Author.

You’ve been to see Gary Vaynerchuk Live! Now it’s time to party!

Join us for an outdoor alley party from 9:30 to 1 am. We’ll have live music, drinks and snacks.

YAM HAUS hails from Hudson, Wisconsin and combines electro-poppy grooves with swooning vocals. They’ve played to sold-out crowds at First Avenue and 7th Street Entry.

Author is based in Minneapolis and is known for their dreamy soundscapes and unique listening experiences.

Tickets are $20 and include our “Passion Punch” Welcome Cocktail. After-Party snacks will be available for purchase.

Join park staff for a brief history of maple syruping then hike to Oxbow’s sugar bush as we demonstrate how we tap our sugar maples. This program ends with a small sample of Oxbow Parks’ maple syrup! Dress for the weather and expect mud.

Animals all have ways to survive winter. Some adaptations might be sleeping the whole winter, flying south to a warmer destination, or becoming dormant. This program discusses terms of hibernation, migration, dormant and active behaviors for animals to survive winter.

Critter Sunday at Quarry Hill Nature Center

Sundays at Quarry Hill Nature Center are public programs (Bird Banding, Critter Sunday, Cave Tour & Historic HIke) open to all ages are held every Sunday at 1:30 pm. $2 adults, $1 kids, free to members. Quarry Hill Nature Center, www.qhnc.org, 328-3950.

Build an American Kestrel Box

Learn about the natural history of the smallest falcon in Minnesota, the American Kestrel. Help improve population numbers for the Kestrel’s by constructing a nest box. A staff member will give instructions where to place the box for the best Kestrel habitat. Only 25 boxes ($5.00 each) are available, so call 775-2451 to reserve one soon! Ages 5 and up.
