Would you like to learn how to do a science fair project? Come to a free workshop! Find out what makes a good science fair project, based on the scientific method of inquiry. You will also learn how to prepare the display board and get tips on explaining it to reviewers at the science fair. Working in small groups, scientists will guide participants through simple experiments using the scientific method, practice discussing the project with a reviewer and brainstorm ideas for participants’ own science fair projects.
Workshops are open to students in grades 3-6 and their parents/guardians. The workshops are free, but pre-registration is required. Choose only one session.
