Parenting is tough work!  Sometimes you just want to hear that toddler tantrums happen in more than just your home, “threenager” is really a think, middle school hormones eventually regulate or…just a shoulder to cry on when it all gets to be *too much.*  Thankfully, there are several parenting support groups in the Rochester area if you are looking for a place for support and encouragement! Don’t see your group on this list?  Please fill out the form below!

SE MN Childbirth Network

A group of birth professionals and parents working together to educate the community and childbearing families about options for the prenatal, birth, and postpartum periods.

Meeting Times: Community events are hosted monthly at various locations. Check us out on facebook and online for updates.


La Leche League

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.

National Alliance on Mental Illness Family Support Group

An on-going, peer-facilitated group designed to support family members who have a loved one diagnosed with a mental illness. No registration required. All support groups are open groups, which means you can drop in anytime. For more information visit

Seasons Hospice Pregnancy and Infant Loss Group

A time of sharing for those who have lost a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, at the time of birth or within the first month after birth. No reservations are required and you may attend as often as you wish.

Autism Support & Discussion Group – Rochester, MN

This group is for families impacted by autism to connect, ask questions, and share knowledge and resources.



PARRK (Parents And Relatives Raising Kids) is a no-cost education group for anyone raising kids. Topics have included fire safety, CPR/First Aid, Zumba, and money management. Child care is provided and there is limited transportation available.

Rochester Center For Autism Parent Support Group

This is a group for all parents, caregivers and grandparents to come together as one. It is a time to share feelings, needs, concerns and even find available resources. We have a monthly topic, speakers and time for discussion.. Childcare and a sibling support group is available upon RSVP for a small fee. The meeting is free for parents and open to all, your child did not have to attend the Rochester Center For Autism. We typically meet the last Wednesday of the month at 6:30..
