Times have changed since our mothers gave birth. Even my second birth was dramatically different from my first six years before.

Last year, Rochester International Airport, was our “delivery room” yet again. We added a 3-year-old boy to our family.

The Leadership Greater Rochester class of 2016 and Rochester Parks and Recreation are looking to activate the Silver Lake Station for community use through a variety of activities. Money raised will go towards replacing the roof through the “Fund Your Parks” campaign, ensuring that the building will be available for future use and generations.
Silver Lake Station was chosen to be one of 12 public projects across the nation to be featured by the National Recreation and Park Association on their crowdfunding platform!
