Becky, Owner & Founder

Becky | Rochester MN Moms Blog

Becky is the owner and founder of Rochester MN Moms Blog. Born and raised in Rochester, she considers herself a Minnesota girl through and through…mostly due to her love of winter. With a passion for her community and local businesses, Becky loves connecting women to resources and information to make navigating Rochester a breeze.

She is a mama to Evie (2014) and Theo (2015) and is married to AJ. Together, they cause trouble wherever they go.

Connect with Becky on Instagram or Twitter.

Heather, Managing Editor

Heather | Rochester MN Moms Blog

With four young kids within five years of each other, Heather’s hands and heart are absolutely full.  She’s passionate about good food, literature, social justice, handmade items, and making her house a welcoming and comforting space for all.  She also spends a lot of time nursing her long-term relationship with coffee.  Heather and her husband Michael blog about homeschooling, living life with a hearty mix of both abandon and intentionality, their future working with refugees in France, and other sundry topics at Those Kinds of People.

Angela, Social Media Coordinator

Angela | Rochester MN Moms Blog

Angela, Angie or Ang grew up in Rochester and never wanted to be too far from it. Being the oldest of seven siblings kept her heart close to home and family. Fortunately in 2008 she met Corey a patient, kind man who loves this city and her family just as much as she does. In 2009 they started their married adventure and never looked back! Today they are navigating the craziness of parenthood together. Raising Naomi (2011), Henry (2013), and Penny Grace (2016) has been the most challenging and beautiful thing they have ever done!

A typical day for Angela includes coffee (and lots of it), laundry (and lots of it), and of course noise (and lots of it)! Exploring the city with her kids is one of her favorite things! Even on days when her introverted nature begs to stay home. When the littles are occupied she is often perusing social media, settling into a good book, day dreaming about country life, or planning her next antiquing adventure with her sisters.

Amanda, Sponsorship Coordinator

Amanda | Rochester MN Moms Blog

Amanda moved to Rochester from Alabama in 2011 for her husband’s job. The transition to the Midwest from the South was not an easy one, but Amanda has since made Rochester a second home for their family.

Amanda graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in business administration. Amanda has a background in accounting and marketing and also worked with people with disabilities before becoming a stay-at-mom.

Amanda became a first-time mom to Georgia in January 2016. Amanda loves Southern culture and food. In her spare time you will find Amanda doing cardio, playing with her two rescue Labradors, traveling the world with her husband (especially during winter), making sweet tea for friends and wearing matching outfits with her daughter.

Kelly, Creative Design Coordinator

Kelly | Rochester MN Moms Blog

Kelly is wife to Dustin, mama to 2 little guys, and designer at IBM Interactive. Coming from an all-girls house, Kelly is quickly learning everything boy. When she’s not working or wrangling the boys, she spends her time doing freelance design, blogging, tackling home projects, and instagraming too many pictures. You can find out more and connect with her on her blog at Kelly Hicks Design.

Kim, Community Engagement Coordinator

In addition to Rochester MN Moms Blog, Kim is the Community Engagement Coordinator for Twin Cities Moms Blog. She’s passionate about building community and helping moms get connected, feel supported, and be encouraged.
