Becky, Owner & Founder

Becky | Rochester MN Moms Blog

Becky is the owner and founder of Rochester MN Moms Blog. Born and raised in Rochester, she considers herself a Minnesota girl through and through…mostly due to her love of winter. With a passion for her community and local businesses, Becky loves connecting women to resources and information to make navigating Rochester a breeze.

She is a mama to Evie (2014) and Theo (2015) and is married to AJ. Together, they cause trouble wherever they go.

Nicole, Managing Editor

Nicole | Rochester MN Moms Blog

Nicole jumps at the chance to travel the globe but finds comfort upon returning home to the comfort and familiarity of her native Rochester. After attending the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities for her undergraduate degree in architecture, she skipped her graduation ceremony to marry a guy she met at a waterski show when she was 19. Her baby girl is now 14 years old, with a 11 year old biological brother and 11 year old adopted brother recently home from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

In what is clearly a trend to fully integrate all aspects of life, she and her husband involve their kiddos in everything from politics to rehabbing old buildings. She feels strongly that work and travel and family and marriage are best enjoyed simultaneously, and that life is all the richer that way.

Nicole thrives on copious amounts of coffee, a love/hate relationship with running, and searching real estate listings daily. Check out Nicole on Instagram for shots of her bulldog Lucy or follow her design blog Old Spaces New Places.

Angela, Social Media Coordinator

Angela | Rochester MN Moms Blog

Angela, Angie or Ang grew up in Rochester and never wanted to be too far from it. Being the oldest of seven siblings kept her heart close to home and family. Fortunately in 2008 she met Corey a patient, kind man who loves this city and her family just as much as she does. In 2009 they started their married adventure and never looked back! Today they are navigating the craziness of parenthood together. Raising Naomi (2011), Henry (2013), and Penny Grace (2016) has been the most challenging and beautiful thing they have ever done!

A typical day for Angela includes coffee (and lots of it), laundry (and lots of it), and of course noise (and lots of it)! Exploring the city with her kids is one of her favorite things! Even on days when her introverted nature begs to stay home. When the littles are occupied she is often perusing social media, settling into a good book, day dreaming about country life, or planning her next antiquing adventure with her sisters.

Amanda, Sponsorship Coordinator

Amanda | Rochester MN Moms Blog

Amanda moved to Rochester from Alabama in 2011 for her husband’s job. The transition to the Midwest from the South was not an easy one, but Amanda has since made Rochester a second home for their family.

Amanda graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in business administration. Amanda has a background in accounting and marketing and also worked with people with disabilities before becoming a stay-at-mom.

Amanda became a first-time mom to Georgia in January 2016. Amanda loves Southern culture and food. In her spare time you will find Amanda doing cardio, playing with her two rescue Labradors, traveling the world with her husband (especially during winter), making sweet tea for friends and wearing matching outfits with her daughter.

Kelly, Creative Design Coordinator

Kelly | Rochester MN Moms Blog

Kelly is wife to Dustin, mama to 2 little guys, and designer at IBM Interactive. Coming from an all-girls house, Kelly is quickly learning everything boy. When she’s not working or wrangling the boys, she spends her time doing freelance design, blogging, tackling home projects, and instagraming too many pictures. You can find out more and connect with her on her blog at Kelly Hicks Design.

Kim, Community Engagement Coordinator

Kim V | Rochester MN Moms Blog

Kim was born, raised, and got both her bachelors and masters degrees in the Twin Cities. She married her best friend, Ryan, almost 9 years ago and together they have 2 kids, a daughter (4 years) and a son (2 years). In addition to Rochester MN Moms Blog, Kim is the Community Engagement Coordinator for Twin Cities Moms Blog. She’s passionate about building community and helping moms get connected, feel supported, and be encouraged. She loves being outdoors–camping, hiking, running, cooking and baking, making wine, and occasionally being crafty. She believes laughter is the best way to keep your sanity as a parent and loves swapping stories with other moms.

Cristin, Director of Sales

Cristin | Rochester MN Moms Blog

Cristin grew up in Rochester and after living on both coasts and life throwing a few unexpected curves, she found herself back in her hometown in 2015. Cristin is a single mom to her two year old son and six year old goldendoodle.

When Cristin isn’t teaching barre and yoga classes at FireFly Barre Fitness or preschool at Aldrich Memorial Nursery School, she loves to travel, read a good book and drink red wine. She’s passionate about health & wellness, kombucha, interior design and her family. A Minnesota girl through and through, Cristin loves the outdoors and all four seasons and she never misses the chance to be at her family’s
lakehouse.

A creative spirit, Cristin is notorious for being an idea generator who’s constantly searching for her next project!

Chelsea, Event Coordinator

Chelsea | Rochester MN Moms Blog

Chelsea is a social butterfly who has been living in Rochester since 2008. She and her husband Curtis are the parents to two beautiful babies, Coen (2015) and Calla (2017). Chelsea is slowly learning how to function and survive the adventures of parenthood (i.e. active wear, iced americanos from Moka, wine (nothing beats a cold crisp glass of Sauvy B), and of course mom friends).

Chelsea loves making people laugh and has a fondness for sarcasm. She enjoys baking (chocolate chip cookies are a go-to) and feels that cheese should have been her middle name. When she isn’t working as a dietitian or chasing around her rambunctious toddler or snuggling her baby girl, she loves to read lifestyle and food blogs, wishes it were fall year round, decorate her home, and go on day dates with her hubby.  You can follow along with Chelsea on Instagram or Pinterest.
