There is something so very special about enjoying a meal made by a local chef using local ingredients. In recent years, Farm-to-Table dining has become a mainstay in restaurants committed to the local economy and providing their diners the best, freshest ingredients around.
Forager Brewery has recently introduced their new Chef Series with Head Chef Erik Paulsen and Head Brewer Austin Jevne. Each Thursday of the month from April to June, scratch-made dinners are curated around three main categories: Themed (1st and 4th Thursdays of the month), Harvest (2nd Thursday of the month), and Beer (3rd Thursday of the month).
The dinners are hosted in the intimate, bright, and cozy Pop-Up kitchen in the back of Forager. Chef Erik beams as he describes each course and the particulars of what the diners are about to enjoy. This is truly an entertaining experience for Rochester area foodies. The dinner is creative and exciting and also provides Chef Erik an opportunity to test out potential new summer menu items. (There may or may not be a new soft pretzel on the menu soon. With house-made beer cheese sauce. And house-made mustard. Carry-on.)
We suggest you include the beer pairing with your dinner. Head brewer Austin masterfully pairs each course with a full pour of a signature Forager brew. You will certainly not go away thirsty…or hungry!
This series is perfect for date night, Mom’s Night Out, a special celebration or-honestly-just because. Consider treating yourself to a fabulous meal, featuring fantastic local ingredients and incredible local talent!
