Free Kids’ Workshop | Home Depot

This is a hands-on workshop where you and your child can build a flower pot to hold spring flowers to keep or give to Mom. Once the project is complete, your child can paint their project to personalize it. Think and Do Free Family Day | Rochester Art Center

The Med City Kids’ Marathon is held every year during Memorial Day Weekend. It is open to all students in grades K-8. The goal is for students to run a marathon a little at a time. Each participant logs 25 miles prior to the run and completes the marathon of 26.2 miles by running 1.2 miles in this event. The run is free and each finisher receives a well-deserved marathon medal.  Parents/Guardians may run with their runner.

Dam Hike | Chester Woods Park

Enjoy a hike while learning the history and facts about the Chester Woods Dam. You will be stopping at the scenic dam overlook to enjoy a picnic; a lunch of hot dogs, chips and Kool-Aid will be provided by the Park . It is a two-mile round trip hike. The Prairie Cruiser wagon will be available for anyone who needs or would like a ride.
